Heterodox economics

Abstract : Heterodox economics is now the fashionable expression describing the set of numerous nonorthodox schools of thought that have emerged through time. Heterodox economics is in opposition to orthodox economics, also known as mainstream economics or neoclassical economics. The purpose of this entry is to present the elements shared by the economists of the various heterodox schools of thought and to identify these schools.
